National Charity League’s (NCL) Bayou Villages chapter welcomes the class of 2028. Karis Ibanez, Nellie Newtown, and Taylor Harting (pictured, from left) are new members and are enjoying serving the community as part of a long-standing mother/daughter service organization. Each year, a group of seventh-grade girls and their moms are inducted into the chapter, joining 8th-12th graders in committing their efforts to helping people in need. NCL Bayou Villages commits numerous service hours each year to support local organizations including Fuente Food Bank, Belong Kitchen, The Brookwood Community, and Books Between Kids. Mothers and daughters have the opportunity to give back through volunteering while enjoying quality time together.
