Surrounded by blue-checkered tablecloths, potted plants, lavender, wildflowers and greenery at The Forest Club, in a French Country-themed setting, nearly 400 guests gathered for Picnic For the Park in support of Memorial Park Conservancy. The annual gala celebrated the Conservancy’s two-year anniversary of managing and operating Memorial Park in partnership with Houston Parks and Recreation Department. The party also highlighted the progress of the master plan, which is currently underway in the park’s Eastern Glades. The evening was emceed by Linda Lorelle of ABC 13. After dinner, guests hit the dance floor to music from DJ Damon Pampolina. The evening raised more than $375,000 for MPC.
